RHO opens a Muiderberg 2♥ (= weak hand, 5 card ♥, 4+ cards in an unknown minor) in 1st seat.

I didn't like my choices, but we got an average out of this one. Me and my partner wonder what the best action with such a hand is.

I've never played against these methods, but with all this defense and only 3 spades, I like pass a lot more than my second choice (takeout double).

Dbl but wouldn't blame p for passing with this hand. 3♣ is not very bad but dbl deswcribes the hand slightly better.

I would X - the most flexible call. 3C is my 2nd choice, and wouldn't consider passing.

Shortage in their suit? check.
Support for all other suits? check.

This hand is not a 3♣ overcall, either. 3 level overcalls are made by hands with a long suit, to show playing strength in the suit. Weak no trumps don't overcall suits at the 3 level.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

We should always assume 2/1 unless otherwise stated, because:

I'd double here - nothing else would be attractive to me.

If forced to find another call, I'd pass - strongly prefer that over 3♣, which is the only viable option after double and pass.

In MP its a clear X for me, in Imps its closer but still a X.
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
