The schedule of ACBL tournaments on BBO at http://doc.bridgebas.../schedule.shtml says which ones are indy vs pair and which are speedball. But it doesn't distinguish between IMP Pairs and Matchpoints.

So can anyone tell me what the schedule is for IMP Pairs vs. Matchpoints, or who to contact? I play in a weekly tourney on OKbridge, and we'd like to switch to BBO, but I need to know the schedule so we can make our plans.

Sorry :)

The person to contact is jacki@ or acbl@bridgebase.com

There are basically two schedules

SPEEDBALLS:
-----------------

The speedballs run every hour on the hour

The first starts at 08:00 Eastern ( IMPS )
the next is at 09:00 (MP )
the next is at 10:00 (IMPS)
the next is at 11:00 (MPS)

etc. they simply alternate between formats
The last is at 1AM eastern

SLOWBALLS ( er - pairs )

These start at 10:55 ( IMPs)
then 12:55 ( MP ) "1PM"
14:55 ( IMP ) "3 PM"
16:55 ( MP ) "5 PM"
18:30 ( IMPs) 630 PM
20:00 ( MP ) 8PM
22:15 ( IMP 10:15 PM
23:55 (MP) "midnight"
02:00 (IMP) "2am"

Note the odd start times. We moved them up by 5 mins recently. Some slowballs weren't getting off the ground, and we figured this would give people time to move to the speedball if the slowball stalled out w/insufficient entries.

Thanks. The speedballs are 7 minutes/board, right? We're used to OKbridge's pace, which is about 6 min/board, although they delay the round change until 75% of the tables are finished, so I don't think we should have much trouble keeping up.

The speedballs use 4.5 mins a board.

The slowballs use 7 mins a board.

The speedballs start at xx:00 and end at xx:56 or so. The slowball schedule is less regular.
