3♥ WTP :)
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

I don't like this hand, all red... 2♥

2♥.. no need to go LOTT crazy here. We are vul, we have both major suits, we have one defensive trick. I doubt they can make game (hearts should stop 3NT, we have four spades and they haven't even bid them, and 11 tricks is a lot given our diamond trick and partners overcall).

2♥ is clear at imps, and in this case, even at MP. I see no need to give them a clear shot at 200 via either a double down one, or no double down two.

I also chose 2H. Choosing 2H is a commitment to sell to 3C and I intend that also, pretty much for the reasons Ben gives. Possibly partner will bid over 3C but probably not, and if he doesn't then they play 3C. -110 or -130 beats -200.

The 3-level is just too frisky with such a balanced hand.
Kind regards,

Close but 2 is enough for me. The 2♣ bid makes me very exposed to a penalty at the 3 level since this hand definitely belongs to the opponents, based on strength anyway.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

I like 2. if RHO would have made a negative double or 1♠, 3♥ is more appealing.
