That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

4D. This puts on some pressure. A 3D bid is really a nothing bid and gives the opps far too much room.

This really depends on who pard is. If he is the type to open at the 1 level with a 5 card suit and weak hand fairly often then I would bid 4. If he is the type to open at the 2 level with a 5 card suit and weak hand fairly often I would bid 3. Since you were playing with me I would bid 4.

I think this is another good hand for 4♣ non-forcing gerber. If partner has preempted with a minor two-suiter we can find our sacrifice, and this bid takes up as much space as 4♦. And if partner answers aces, opponents will never figure it out!

If you have the philosophy that a 3rd seat W preempt can be anything then 3D is enough otherwise i bid 4.
Partner could easily be 4261 and bidding 4D is the only way to bury the H fit.

Agree with this.
Playing with myself I'd be conserned about 3NT being on. But I'd not try 3♠, since that would give LHO the opportunity to X. So I'd raise to 4♦.

Lets see, what comes from this.
You are fairly strong, which means one need not be
afraid of defending against 4S, and 2D may well be
based on a 5 carder with strength in the mayor,
and partner may or may not be weak.

No expert here, but I'm curious as to if anybody else plays it this way...
I bid 3♦.
If the next player bids 3♠, and my partner passes, then I will pass throughout.
If the next player bids 3♠, and my partner bids 4♦, then I will double 4♠ should I get the opportunity.
If the next player bids 4♠, well, it didn't hurt anything to try.

Maybe I should clarify.
We play that walking the dog shows substantial defense. This is especially true for 3rd hand weak bids, which for us are very wide ranging. I would like to know if others define it the same way.
I don't know why one would define opener's rebid as "bidding their hand twice". Seems like a waste of a perfectly good bid.

I only know it from hear-say (vugraph) so I can't tell you.
I bid only 3D, shame on me. LHO had a monster with a diamond void so I don't think it would have mattered.
