Scoring: IMP

Pass - 1 - (2) - 2
2 - double - AP

Right or wrong you sit for the x. You get a mild laugh out of dummy.

Pard leads the K. You overtake to shoot a trump through. Pard cashes the Q-A-K (you pitch 2 hearts) and shifts to the 8. You play the J losing to the K. Declarer plays 2 more spades (pard following to the 1st).

What are your discards?

And declarer pitched? I assume a heart and a diamond since otherwise we could pitch a club freely. Anyways, I would pitch a club. If declarer has, say, JT9xx xxxx Ax Kx a diamond and a club work out equally, and if declarer happens to be JT9xx xxxx Kxx K a club is obviously much better.

If we're playing declarer for JT9xx xxxx Kxx K, why didn't we start pitching clubs before pitching a 3rd heart? Seems we've already blown a trick.

Ya true if we are going to pitch a club on the last spade we are supposed to do it a round earlier, sometimes they dont play their last trump though.
