You're playing in a home game with reasonable opponents and partner and pick up:
♠KQxx ♥KQJT987 ♦xx ♣void
1♥-(4♣)-4♥-(5♣)
?
Your call?

On this hand, I might well have used Hrothgar's Burgess rule, and opened 4♥.

The heart suit is so good, some might even upgrade it to a 7-bagger.

Yes 4♥ seems normal.
6♥ is a stretch but I think it is worth some consideration. The opponents are likely to have good clubs which increases the chances that partner has a couple of useful aces.
The problem with 6♥ is that we want partner to stretch to 4♥ on many hands with a decent heart fit and we need even more than a couple of aces - and even that is not certain.
However if we can bid 5♥ and partner does have a decent hand including good controls and partner can imagine our club void then there is a decent chance that he can bid 6♥ when it is right.

True but I know Standard American and what better reason could I have for playing Precision? - Hideous Hog

Maybe Han meant "super-6" (as opposed to sub-6 or exactly 6).

Well, if I had 12 of them I'd probably bid 6♥.
Then again, I should probably call for the director, since we'd be playing with a defect deck.....
