4S, we explored slam by bidding 3H before we bid 4S. FWIW I would have just bid 4H over 2H.

Very close call, but I agree with this in the given sequence.
If the sequence were such that somehow the poosition strength was expected to be behind Opener, this would be too strong for a one-under splinter.
This is still quite strong. Were partner able to make a LTTC call, I would feel really comfortable with a 4♥ call. If the joker to my left doubles the splinter (TYVM), I'll accept even a puff of wind from partner in the slam direction.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

The way i play I would bid 4D instead of 3H (showing 6 good diamond and a S fit). A direct 4H would show a void. Otherwise 4H splinter in the correct standard bid
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."
