I'm curious how the Vugraph sessions "work". I mean, could someone trace the sequence of events from the time a live player makes a play or bid to the time I see the event on my BBO session?
Thanks,
Phil

There is a person (the "vugraph operator") sitting
beside the table where the bridge is being played.
That person has a computer in front of him/her that
is connected to BBO.
The "vugraph" user IDs have the ability to start a
live broadcast whenever they want and to do all the
necessary data entry.
The tournament organizers provide the vugraph operator
with a file that contains the deal records for the session
to be broadcast.
These broadcasts really are live. The delay is no more
than a second or 2 if the vugraph operator has a good
connection to the internet.
