Pard opens 1H. RHO overcalls 1S. We have 9873, T6, AK5, QT87.

1H (1S) ?

Since dbl does not promise both minors, it's easy.

Double. If we pass then we will be stuck later in so many auctions. Double shows we have values and still allows partner to declare 3NT from her side. If partner bids 2D then we can take preference to 2H.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I agree with ...

Although, I would add ,,,
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

Double looks very normal to me.

I have values and a desire to compete at this level.

I do not have a simple raise or a 1NT response.

I suspect it means "I posted something here but changed my mind/realised my post was silly/posted in the wrong thread/something else such that I chose to delete the post but can't actually do that so I'll just edit the post to '...'"
