Seems worse than 50%, as I cannot pick up Kxxx on the left at all. Picking up Kxx on the left is also hard, as I only have one entry to my hand.

You only need one entry. You can run the 8. But it's still a <50% slam.

Slams that are often described as 50% are rarely as good as that. In this instance a 5-1 heart break will also cause it to fail.

If you did not bid slams that appear to be 'just on a finesse' then you would certainly be better for it.

I usually say that suit slams are never exactly 50% - there is always a chance of an obscure ruff.

"Never" might be an overbid but it is pretty darn close.
