Well, 6S from the south is not so bad is it? I'll make it if spades split 3-2 and diamonds 4-2 or better. Maybe better than that depending on the lead or the placement of the major suit aces (for example if west has both).
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I'll take 6♠ from the South. It seems to be cold from the South side with 3-2 trump and 4-3 diamonds. I might be able to handle 5-2 diamonds too.

I'd initially prefer 4♠, but won't be too unhappy about 6♠ either.
