Do you agree with our double?
What has partner got (could you give a prototypical hand or two?)
What should we do now?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Perfect double, I think partner has a preemptivish hand type but not garbage, like maybe a 6 count with 7 diamonds or something? I'm not really sure tbh, I have never seen this auction, look forward to other views on what this bid means. I am thinking of it kind of analagously to 1m X p 3M which is a distributional hand with a bit of values, less HCP than 2H but more shape basically.

I would bid 5, not exactly sure what partner has but I have aces and excellent support. Probably he has something like a 4 opening bid, which I would surely raise with good hopes of making game.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Agree with Justin and Josh on what hand type partner basically should show up with for this jump.

Not sure I'd raise though. If partner's got a singleton heart there's a reasonable chance for making 5. If not, chances seem remote. I'd probably pass at MP and raise at IMPs.
Kind regards,
Harald

I don't think pard can have a singleton heart. That would put LHO with at least 3 hearts and people tend to support pard a lot these days.

Anyway, I would be too scared to pass this in case it was meant as invitational, unwilling to play 3NT. I'd try 5.

I admit I haven't this particular situation discussed with pet pard, but do have meta-agreements that would rank this as "invitational".
