I know many people have the agreement in the title. But what if you have the Ace and partner leads the King? What do you signal (if you don't want to overtake)?

... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Yes I suppose this is a minor problem but all these conditions must apply:
Dummy doesnt have the jack (else when partners king wins they know where the ace is)
Dummy doesn't have 3+ of the suit (else you can overtake with Axx since partner must have KQT9 at a minimum)
Declarer is not known to have at most 3 of the suit (ie, after a stayman auction)
If these apply partner doesn't know if he's getting bath couped or not.

You give count.
When partner led the king he is (in theory!) supposed to know what he is doing.
Against NT, the common agreement is that the king is for UNBLOCK or count, in which case you don't have a problem - you play the ace and another one back.
Against a suit contract there can be a problem when declarer has the jack and you have the ace. But it doesn't seem to happen very often at the table (maybe because dummy always has Jxx and declarer Axx when I lead from KQ)
