Capitalized Thread Titles

I happen to think they're a bad idea. Nothing wrong with having a few all-capital letter titles, or words like USA or II or CHO in the title, or short, modest ones like "pass?".
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

This was a tweak i made last week. Basically i was trying to stop shouting in titles (all caps), not sure if capitalize each word was forced by that decision or a secondary choice. I sort of like it, but there is no reason not to change it back if the majority prefer it not to look like this. So in a few days we will let this poll decide... democracy at work.

is 12 votes a reasonably representative sample? I'd say so

I would prefer not to have those titles but assuming the policy is automated, I wonder how well it works. I can imagine a title consisting of acronyms and numbers only that may unjustifiedly be filtered out.

I really don't like them. Maybe apply the filter only to titles with more than, say, 50% capital letters?

Yes at least I can read the title when I'm drunk.
It's not what you are, it's how you say it!

The change i made to the forum that didn't allow SHOUTING in post titles has been changed back. Not sure, as i said before, if this change will alter the capitilize first letter thing. this poll will remain open, and should the vote go back the other way, i might change it back.
