If this isn't a 6-card invite, then what is a 6-card invite?

I don't see the point of the option of "game" if there is no option of "partial".
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Invite for me too.

It's fairly close. I'd invite if pard just opened 1N instead of overcalling. With LHO opening, this becomes a better hand, since the hooks are working. Our stiff club is a bit of a negative however, since pard has known values across.

Unfavourable at IMPS: don't muck around, just bid game.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

hum.. most evaluation methods I can think of tell me to stop in 2♥. Not sure I'm gonna trust them. First I'll transfer and see what happens.

Invite here. I don't want to be in game opposite most hands for partner with bad heart support. As little change as make the hearts AT9xxx and I might bid game, so it's close.

Vul we need 37% for game: 10imp(620-170) v 6imp(-200-140). This is at least that good.
xfer to 4H or xfer then 4H even me immediate 4H whichever is systemic.

That 37% often gets misapplied, as here.

- It only matters on hands where partner would reject an invitation.
- It only applies if you are never down more than 1 and never doubled, both of which can happen here with any sort of bad breaks.

Per rough 100 deal simulation, 4H makes 51% of the time.

On hands where overcaller has

2 hearts and 15 HCPs, 4H makes 12% of the time.
3 hearts and 15 HCPs, 4H makes 34% of the time

No kidding !! So I'll just xfer and bid 3♥ as a 6 card invite.

I transfer with 2♦. If partner super accept I bid game, else I invite. But with partner over opener it's close to just bidding game.
Kind regards,

Hi,

I would say, it is more a question
between invite and pass, I will make
an invite, but wont be surprised, if it
would lead to -1.

With kind regards
