I would had ruffed a diamond before playing any trump, and then trump to queen.

I'm cross-ruffing. Cash diamonds (spade discard), cash spades. Even if a spade is ruffed by south, I'm unlikely to have to rely on a ruffing finesse in hearts, since the diamonds might then provide the 12th trick.
If north has 9x and Tx, he got me :).

Hmm, perhaps I should play 3 rounds of diamonds before cashing AKQ. I can claim, if Q drops third and so I avoid the risk of being trapped by a tricky north.
This line loses additionally only to south's xxx, Axxxx, xx, Axx, but then he might have overcalled.

Yes, I prefer this. Hmm, difficult board. There could easily be something much better.
