I would like to suggest a small improvment to the software:

- it would be nice if the last card played in a board stays at least one full second on the board before it being dismissed

Thank you,

A work around for this is you can point your mouse to the tricks won total on the bottom right hand side of the table and it will show all the cards played to the last trick. I think that is true for quite a while afte the last card is played, and might still be true until you play to the next trick.

I think the OP meant at the end of a hand, when before the next hand is dealt.

ah... ok, sorry... Alright then, you can click on the GREEN movie button and look at the last hand for as long as you like or until your opponents or partner yell at you to bid!

I second Mgiurgieus proposal.

The last stick in the hand should be shown at least one full second.

At the same time we can have one more little improvement: the last card of the hand played automatically. - and semislow.
Cats bring joy and a feeling of harmony and well-being into a home.
Many homeless cats seek a home.
Adopt one. Contact a cat shelter!
You too can be an everyday hero. :)

While I agree that the last card needs to stick around for a second, I really want to see more when my partner claims as a defender. I have to go back to the movie to figure out even how many tricks he claimed! It should say "xxxx claim of yy tricks is accepted" and let that on the screen for a couple of seconds before going on to the next hand.

If I was being a rules lawyer, I'd argue that you should have to click something to start the next board period. There are some things (such as some director calls) you can make prior to the start of the next board but not after your partner bids. While I understand the potential abuse, I am still in favor of a few seconds between boards to talk to partner without table talking, etc. unless you click on something that tells it to hurry up and go on to the next board.
