Free said he couldn't put "x" in hands, so I changed it. You can't have more than 9 "x" in any suit. He realized it, but now I'm documenting it, sorry for the delay.

Also, you can use "10" instead of "T".

Currently, both LEFTDUMMY and RIGHTDUMMY assume South is declarer. Should that change?

That brought a compass problem in a thread (I don't remember which one, maybe Ben can help here), where Ben suggested modified the hand after generated to have a partial hand represented as a full one.

I added a checkbox to allow suspension of "all hands have same number of cards" check, assuming poster knows what s/he is doing

The issue was this "leftdummy" hand...

The confusion is probably my description of this hand... unlike you, I assumed that "south" always plays the hands, so if you are on defense, dummy is always north (my silly way to think about hand presentations). So in this model, the hand with the ♠K was "presumed" to be EAST. It could also be south of course, with the dummy displayed on the left being WEST hand.

IF you assume you are south, I see how this bidding and be very, very confusing... mea culpa... but I guess it is a matter of conventional agreement amoung us here. Maybe we should agree "problem" hands are always south as you suggested.. that would simplify things.... or we could include the contract along with vul and dealer on the left hand side... If this had said, 5♦ South, it might have been easier to see that you were EAST.

Well it works either way... In the above illustration, this could just as easily be WEST and South or North and EAST.... the presentation would be the same... I think we should go with the problem hand always being south as you programmed it however....that is as easy as anything.

I see no reason to make changes here... if I can change to accept that the hand above in the illustration should be south.... .and i need to fix the bidding, to make WEST the declarer (and move the dummy to the right).. then anyone can....
