I dont know if it is reported before. My bbo pop up AD from time to time. It's quite annoying because when this happen, it just keep poping up every a few minutes until there are tens of POP-UPs!

I think it should not be desinated by BBO and I really appreciate someone can advice what's wrong with it.

Thanks,

BTW, pop-up comes in pair, bridge style. Here're 1 of those pairs:

BBO ads (Except lobby pop up announcement types) should not "pop up" unless you click on it.

In which case you get a new browser window that links to whatever the URL should be.

If you get anything different...have you checked your computer for spyware recently? Try to delete spyware/cookies type. Something may be stored in your pc.

I once got another player's similar report. Maybe it's worth of further investigation.

Thanks, Rain. I've done this already, latest Kapaski viruscan. I'm using vista, the popup comes in IE.

I noticed that when there're no AD on the right bottom coner of BBO interface, there won't be pop-up ADs.

I once suspected it could be my mouse, but I've changed. Pop up consistant.

I removed ads for adhoc3 just to be on the safe side. If you normally use another id, or if the ads are still showing up, email me - uday@

I vaguely recall a bug a long time ago that caused normal mouse clicks to spawn the ads ( after the player had subbed in a tourney or something ) but I could have sworn we fixed that....

I recommend you try the free software Spybot S&D. I had a problem with popups (triggered by BBO but not the fault of BBO) a while ago and Spybot S&d got rid of the adware/spyware program.

Thanks a lot Uday! I'm just using this id so there would be no more trouble.
