No I didn't mean that either. What I meant was that some will bid 6 and say wtp and others will pass and say wtp. I am in the 6 camp.

Those who pass and say wtp. Should stay away from IMPs.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

6C.
Given my 3 Hearts, partner will surely
have a Singelton at most, and Chances
are great that he has the Ace of Clubs,
i.e. 6C will have play most of the time,
and be quite often cold.
And maybe the Opening leader is looking
at an void in Hearts.
Change the Heart holding, remove an X
putting it into Spades or Diamonds, and
I would most likely pass.
With kind regards

Its IMPs, to even think about passing is 100% nonsense.
Ill make 7 much more often then ill go down in 6.

I feel I have to, but I don't feel particularly confident. I wouldn't think partner owed me much if he had AK to seven and King of hearts.

I don't understand the logic of this....
If 5 clubs makes exactly, and 6 clubs goes down 1, you gain 450 points by stopping.
If 6 clubs makes, you gain 500 points by bidding.
Why does the method of scoring matter?

Maybe bidding 6 is right anyway, I won't get into an argument about it since I don't feel that strongly. But with such terrible breaks, it's not as trivial as some posters indicate.
