Is there a way to find a partner for the tournament games, like ACBL and others?

Click on "Partnership desk".

Or do you mean a partner for an unspecified tourney? Then you can check "Seeking a game" and make sure that your profile contains the relevant information for prospective partners (preferred system and carding).
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

Three best ways...

1) Join the Beginner/Intermediate lounge, play with some of the folks there, find somebody you like, and partner with them for an ACBL tournament.

And no, I don't care you're an Advanced player. IMHO, if you're new to BBO and haven't won the Bermuda Bowl lately, join the BIL, and play there for a few days. They aren't contagious, and you'll learn the mechanics and style of the site (and what is and isn't BBO Basic/Advanced).

2) Go to the forum right below this one, and ask for a partner.

3) Sub early and often in ACBL tournaments. Good way to meet people, and decide who you like and don't like.

This is assuming you're not just asking for a near-random partner for a tournament, in which case follow Helene's advice.
