The problem is not the heart fit so much as trying desperately to cash in on that stupid Q10x in spades.

2♠ would be GF and I think the hand is not good enough for that, the spades seem to be useless. So I would simply bid 3♥ inviting game.

1) granted this is made up and not the actual auction.
2) what the heck are you guys double on over one spade....less than 13 hcp? sigh..
3) I give up too tough.

I will not even mention that 4th seat here is a passed that could have 12-13 hcp...that would make it too hard.

You needn't assume anything, there are ways to find out. I call them invitational bids.

I'm far more worried about hands for partner with a doubleton spade than a singleton.

I can't get excited about this hand. Either an immediate 3H or 2S then 3H. We aren't given the vulnerability, but I might drive game vul and invite NV (yes, I know it's matchpoints, but partner's doubles will be sounder vul).
