what's the difference between

2h-x-p-

2S
3S
4S

and using lebensohl and making any of the last two bids? do all 5 sequences even exist?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

2 = weak
3 = GF
4 = not a very strong hand, but a lot of spades (typically 6)

2nt...3 = INV

2nt...4 = never defined this one, maybe 5-5m and not very strong?

I would have said

3 Inv
4 to play
2NT then 3 4 spades choice of 4/3NT
2NT then 4 I have also never defined
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

This is how I play it.

I play 2N then 3H is 4 spades/choice and 2N then 3S is forcing and 3S is inv.

My catch:

2 = weak 4-5 cards
3 = GF 4-5 cards. If 5, then slammish
4 = nat 5+ cards, not slammish
2NT + 3 = inv 4-5 cards
2NT + 4 = undiscussed
