Imps all Green

KQTxxx
void

KQT93

(2H) P (3H) ?

You are not playing non leaping "Leaping Michaels", so 4C here would not show the blacks. What is your bid? (Strong case for the above mentioned convention).
More to follow on this later after I get some answers.

Forget non-jumping leaping michaels.. just use Misho's Meta overcalls... :-)

But ok, I don't have an easy choice.

What are the choices? First what I will not even consider:

Pass - you got to be kidding
DBL - never with a void and a two suiter
3 - hoping for a second chance to bid?
3NT - don't I see that I have a void?
4 - really hoping for another chance?

So the real choices are:
4
4NT
4
5

I thow 4 out as an option as I may make 6 opposite as little as xx JTxx xxx Axxx. Partner will figure I am playing him for about 7/8 points for this jump and will not move.

4 has the advantage if partner bids 4 I can try 5 exclusion blackwood. If he bids 5 I have to guess what to do, and if he bids 5 i can bid 5 and he should know what to do if he has a black ace.

4NT is similar to 4 but wihtout the advantage of 4 followed by 5, the same uncertainty over 5 but the same strong slam invite with correcting 5 to 5.

5 has a lot going for it. If partner has a trick, he should bid 5NT - pick a suit, or with two suits, bid his lower suit at the six level. IF not, he should bail in 5, but hard to do on xx and you may belong in 5.

All in all, I guess I will bid 4s.

Not a good result on this one where pd doubled - a bid I strongly disagree with.
I passed, holding

This went 2 off

Other table was in 4S. How to get to 6C after this auction start?

4 . And after what pd bids, I'll try for slam. Sometimes preempts work, and if i go down 1 in slam so be it, will do it again next time.
