At IMPs I pass since the only real risk is that opps have 4 when we have a safe sac in 4 or 5, but that's low probability especially w/w. In MP it is closer for me but I'd pass again as I'd assume partner will balance at MP over 2 if it gets to him.

since partner's most common hands will include many 3=3=3=4 7-10 counts, double looks dubious at best. when he has 4 spades and a reasonable hand, he is permitted to balance, knowing that we have short hearts.
