Scoring: IMP

RHO starts with 1D and you overcall 2C with LHO making a neg dble. When partner and now RHO pass. Would you now bid 2H?

No.

I prefer to play sitting over the trumps and making 8 tricks in clubs seems likelier than making 8 tricks in hearts or 9 tricks in clubs.

I guess I'll pass, but what if 4 is on?

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the 3.

I think running is clear. We could just belong in 4 anyway and this isn't game.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

What if they don't stop doubling - how high do you end up?

Reminds me of a true story ages ago. One opponent psyched against us. His partner sadly didn't infer this in time. After we doubled them through the 3- and 4-levels the psycher jumped to 7NT - "to save a few rounds of bidding". :)
Kind regards,
Harald

The problem is that people tend to be slightly more carefully when doubling Justin at low levels than when doubling me!

Running is obvious for technical reasons. RHO is like 55 in the minors. The odds that pard has 3 hearts are pretty good.
