Hi there,

I have asked before, but did not get an accurate answer:

Could somebody please tell me from which point a tourney gets divided in 2 sections?

I am doing some automated rankings and it does not work when more than one section, so I want to limit the tourneys to that number.

Please, it is quite important since it means quite a bit of work to do it manually....

Thx and rgds

It depends on the movement. sections can be as large as 50 or as small as 8 depending on sponsoring organization, indy/pairs, clocked/unclocked.

What's the ranking scheme?

Hi,

There are 2 different tourneys:

1 - 'Reyno de Castilla' (this is the one that gives me the most problems because of the high number of pairs - sometimes over 100): Mp's-Pairs-Swiss-Barometer

2 - 'Islas del Caribe': Imp's-Pairs-Unclocked-Barometer

What's the ranking scheme?

hmm - not sure what you mean, you have an example here: http://jorgensen.es/bbo.htm

- Maybe it only happens when the number of pairs is over 100?
