The opponents are pretty weak, playing 2/4 leads and RHO contributes the ♦Q on the first trick. How would you plan the play?

This is a cute hand and I think its much easier to play against weaker players.
I would just lead a club at T2. RHO will win and probably fire a diamond back and put you on the board so you can go about your business and take two heart hooks.
This is better than trying to manipulate the spade suit for 2 entries or ducking a heart from hand.
On a real good day, the club holds.

I agree with the club. If RHO wins, I bet he plays a heart.

Club at trick two whoever I'm playing against. See how it goes after that.

Agree on playing a club at trick two. This will work most of the time. Anything else will probably set ut five tricks for the defence, and it won't be too hard for them to cash those.
Kind regards,
