1D - 1H
1NT - 2S
2NT - 3C/3D

Playing Kokish, do these show shortness?
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I have seen treatments called "Kokish" applied after a 2 opening, after 1-2, and after a balancing 1NT.

But I haven't seen one on this sequence. Has anyone else?

I think he is referring to the several-times-recently mentioned treatment by Kokish where a player bids two suits and his third bid shows shortness instead of 'patterning out'. I think it is wise to decide on specifically which auctions it will apply if you intend to use it, so you don't get confused on a less common auction like this.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Kokish already has his name on a few treatments:

1. After a 2 - 2 - 2 start;

2. As a form of game try;

3. After 1 - 2.

Maybe its Beverly's turn to have a convention named after her? :)

I haven't heard of this treatment. It seems to me that responder is just patterning at this point and not showing shortness, but maybe Kokish has a sound reason why that should be reversed.

No, it only applies when a fit has been located.
