The Sioux Falls, South Dakota Regional is coming up October 14-18. I am in charge of preparing the Daily Bulletin that contains some articles, the schedule, and the results from the day before.

Does anyone have a good template or design for these bulletins? Have you been to a regional where you thought the layout was great? Have you written and prepared one? Any suggestions or samples would be appreciated.

I wouldn't say this is the best format (especially if people are more into interesting hands than a fun read in the morning, but then again, Penticton is a seriously party regional), but after reading a few of the bulletins at http://www.matchpointer.com/db.htm, you will probably have several good ideas of "I like this style", "we want this", or "I am *never* doing that in my bulletins!"

Good luck with it - it's a thankless (and sleepless) job. I hope you're getting free plays - at another tournament - for it.

This year our regional is going completely online for the daily bulletin, except for the welcome issue. It will also have lots more pictures than a printed version.

Our district regulations require the paper Daily Bulletins at the regionals in our district.
