Lol Jimmy, it was just meant as a nice gesture, probably made up by his PR staff rather than by his theology mentor.

you're right, i'm sure... i just wouldn't take his quote as showing an understanding or tolerance of judaism (or any other ism)

I voted both on this like Han. Of course, I took the question to be whether or not I trust that their paraphrased statements were true... which it is quite clear to everyone that both are right on that account.

The point was not to prove Ahmidinejad's beliefs one way or another, but simply to point out a conflicting story that would never see the light of day in MSM because it opposes the "official" theory. This is not the only story that conflicts with the existing "pary line".

At least by this group of Jews, Ahmidinejad is not viewed as Hitler's reincarnation - how much air time does this contradiction get? Zero.

Yet the CBS reporter stated Ahmadinehad wanted to "wipe Israel off the map", which is not accurate.

If Jews are so terrified of him, why don't the Iranian Jews repatriate to Israel?

I grant you this point: Ahmadinijad is against Zion-i-s-m. But Zionism is not Judaism.
