As you probably know, Fantunes play an EHAA-kind system. Their one-level responses to the unlimited one-level openings are limited though. I was wondering how they play the reverse rebids by opener. An example to clarify:

1♦(1) 1♠(2)
2♥?

(1) 14+ natural unbalanced
(2) 0-9 natural

What does 2♥ mean? Or, in general, what do these reverse rebids mean after a one-over-one?

Because of the 1NT rebid they don't really have reverses after 1♦.

After 1♣ they play "normal" reverses:

If they play normal reverses after a 1♣ opening, I assume their 2NT rebid is GF?
How about 1♣-1♠-2M, 1♦-1NT-2M and 1♥-1NT-2♠? Responder has now already denied a 4crd major. Also 18+ 6-4 then?
Do you know what their requirements for a balanced 15+ hand are? For instance, do they open a 2-4-5-2 with 1♣ or 1♦ (assuming values in the doubletons)?

1♣ - 1♠ - 2♠: Unbalanced 18-20 with 3/4♦ (figures to have a fit somewhere)

After 1♥ - 1NT Gazilli applies, again taking care of the 18+ hands, but 2♠ is 6-4 18+

1♣ - 1♦ - 2♠

With Gert I play some modified version as well, without a polish twist.

After 1M openings you have Gazzilli to help you out. Also, 2NT is used for GF 6-4 distributions.

After 1♦ openings you have 1NT or 1♦-1NT-2♣ to show 18+ hands. Reverses typically show 6-4, although I think it might be better to use these for weak hands and 5-6. 2NT is used for GF hands, so you might as well make use of that tool for your 18+ 6-4 hands (which are basically GF most of the time).

After 1♣ openings we have several ways to show the hands we want to. The main part is 1NT and 2NT being 15-18 and 19-20. The rest needs some artificiality to deal with strong distributional hands and 23+ balanced:
- 1♣-1♦-2♦ and 1♣-1♥-2♦ as 2-way, while reverses in the Majors are always natural.
- 1♣-1♦-1♥ and 1♣-1♥-1♠ are also 2-way: either minimum and support or 23+ balanced.
- we use 1♣-1♠-2♦ as (2)3-way, to distinguish between hands with both minors (14-17 and 18+) and 23+ balanced
- other bids are common sense.
The advantage of all the 2-way bids is that opener can easily show what hand he really holds.
