robot race and free money bridge tourneys

I can see these tourneys listed in "completed" and "in progress" section of tournamnets but there are none listed in section to register, either within the hour or later. Why not?

Just a guess : are you from the following states?

Arkansas, Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland and Tennessee

Mabbe that's why.

Those states prohibit gambling for money. Shouldn't they still be allowed into the free MBT?

I'm in Nashville now (at the NABC). I can see the Robot Race and free/pay MBT's in the Tourneys Starting Within the Hour section, but when I try to register it tells me that it's a private tournament and I can't register. So I don't think that's the explanation for msnmrk's problem.
