 I am seeking information about tournaments played as a competition among individuals rather than pairs or teams of players, where the tournament is scheduled according to what is called a “whist tournament schedule.” This schedule requires that the competition
be played in rounds so that eventually every two players play exactly once as partners and exactly twice as opponents at the same table. Usually everybody would play in each round, but there is a version in which a different person sits out each round. I know how to make such schedules, but I am trying to find any tournaments where such scheduling is used. Thank you for any help.
