Better odds to play like this?

Lead a ♥.
This is a daily hand, no any special in it.

One of my friends suggested a line to me, he insisted it was best.:
3 rounds of ♥s, ♠A and a small ♠.

My instinct line is:
duck a ♠, then finesse in ♦, cash some ♥s to decide play ♠3-3 or some kind endplay.

What do you think?
