BBO member hutchau has suggest the software should highlight both double and redouble in the auction box so as to draw your attention to them. These would not be "alerts' but just something to make them stand out from pass... suit bids aleady do.

I like the idea of a red X and a blue XX in the auction. You have that colors at the table too, so there is no undeserved plus of information.

For less experienced players and lazy ones as me it would be nice.
