Maybe Bill Gates wants to eliminate the (bridge) competition too? :)

Let me try to be a little more helpful. A few users are using Vista with success on the pre-cursor of the final release. See the following thread Testing of Vista/ Sadly I do not have Vista so I can not test this out... Good news, is I am going to purchase a new machine in two to three months, but keep my two other laptops, so if vista problems exist, I will not be stoppped.

I wonder if there is some security setting in Vista that you have not got set up correctly. Considering it is "sppose to more secure, I suspect this might be the problem.

And to Al_u_card, Bill Gates, for what else you think of him is a freind of the BBO and Fred.

Yes, he is. I have been told that he even plays here (and supposedly have played against him on occasion).
Is the word "pass" not in your vocabulary?

We have had no indication that there are any Vista-related problems with our software.

The symptons you describe have been experienced by non-Vista people with certain types of Internet connections.

Suggest you e-mail support@bridgebase.com for a solution to this problem.

What, no humour? Did you not see BG on the Daily Show? He seems to have a pretty good one (of course given his status I can see why.... )

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the BBO Support forum? This forum is for support for Bridge Base products except BBO.

I have spent many hours, testing BBO software with different versions of windows. I may tell you, that is it one of the few programs working fine with any version from Win95 to Vista. It works fine even with early beta versions of Vista released a year ago.
You must look for problems with your connection, or it could be hardware or software issue too.
