3. I will run to my other suit if I get doubled for penalties.

2N. 3 is OK, but the suit sucks and 2N is a better description of our values.

Really?

I bet thats an overwhelming success considering as how your 2nd suit is also openers 1st suit. :P
Is the word "pass" not in your vocabulary?

2NT, totally obvious to me. 3 will just endplay partner in the bidding whenever he doesn't have support. It often gets raised on a doubleton in these situations, and I don't have the suit to warrant that when there is another very descriptive bid for my hand.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

2NT. Nothing else make much sense. The most descriptive alternative.
Partner should be as well placed as possible to make an intelligent decision..
Kind regards,

We have too much to pass. I don't quite like 2NT, so I'll try a (revolting) 3.

2NT. This is quite easy. Not 3H.

Well, it was a success in getting someone to take even the most obvious sarcastic remark seriously...

2N. I don't like overcalling at the 3-level on a mediocre 5-card. Fortunately I have a good alternative. I probably won't concede more one spade trick in 3NT so even if partner has 3 hearts and a singleton spades, 3N has roughly the same chances as 4.

It would be easier at IMPs, though. There is a risk of writing 600 against a field of 620s.

2NT is clear, this is not a hand to bid 3H, which often endplays partner into a raise. Although 3H may work out fine, if it did surely bidding 2NT will work out even more often.
