I cannot find the discussion on asking to partner somebody already on list for a specific tourney - I believe one of the yellows suggested that IF "I" wanted to play I should send a private message to that person rather that "request registration" from the "find a partner" list from tourney list

OK - MAYBE I am suffering a "senior" moment :) BUT earlier I TRIED and TRIED :- to find a particular person who was on the "find a partner" list in the list of ALL logged into BBO --- AND believe me that was ALMOST impossible !!! As I clicked through the HUNDREDS of online players TRYING to find "whoever it is" ( the player I was trying to send a private message to ask him/her to enter the tournament ) it was TOTALLY impossible as SO many folks were logging in/out that I couldn't find the person I was looking for :-[

SO Please - would it be possible looking at the list of folks looking for a partner for a tourney to RIGHT CLIK that name to sent a private message? to ask if he/she would like to play :-

:o YES PLEASE WHAT WONDERFUL IDEA
Much times I trying to help people pair up but scrolling through lobby list is painful and require i leave tournament area. tee hee then i need remember how to spell name.

if other click to chat is available then i ok to say "ask <username>" vs sit in frustration and watch perfect pairs no play

instead of scrolling through lobby and then trying to click the name as it leaps about with people coming & going could you not use the Find a Friend button - saves me some frustration at times :-) M

hi,

the find friend option only shows wheter he/she is on-offline, no change to use that to private chat, also i get a lot of questions from people wanting to play in tourneys but not knowing how to register , maybe td should be able to enter pairs in some sort of way to do it for those pairs

thx marc

Maybe director should have the ability to add and remove individuals/pairs, BUT registering should be players' duty, not director's.
They have to learn only once.
