PS it was my 40th birthday recently and i got my head shaved (number 4) about 9 days ago - but that is incidental Admittedly, my sphere of influence has not beeen as wide as another man who shares particular personality traits with me who was born in a manger (reputedly) 2000 years ago

Ah yes.....the good old US-centric narrow-mindedness. The Liverpuddlians were making waves well before they got to the States and like U2 etc. transcended the pop scene to contribute to the social fabric of the western(ish) world. They were, however, emblematic of Mr. Leighton's iconic representation's lyric about the times a-changin'... <_<
The Grand Design, reflected in the face of Chaos...it's a fluke!

I read the news today, oh, boy, about a man who'd really made the grade.
And though the news was rather sad, I just had to laugh.....

Watching 'Top of the Pops' in the early 60's, the Beatles are on, singing 'Please, Please Me', and our mother wanders in from the kitchen and says, 'Those girls look a lot like boys'
