The previous icons for friend/enemy were far far more easy to read than the current very similar yellow smiley/frowny. A yellow cartoony face is almost welcoming, and I want an ominous, or at least obvious, enemy icon. A toggle for the old icons?

Dan - if you can send me a picture of your face I will try to use it to replace the enemy symbol with something that looks more ominous
On a more serious note, I guess it would not be that big a deal for me to change the color of the enemy symbol.
Adding an option is not going to happen (sorry).
But I am curious as to why these symbols are important. I believe they are always accompanied by a color (which should make distinguishing between friends and enemies easy) except when they appear beside a player's name when he is playing.

Yeah when playing is the only time it is hard to distinguish. The block colors in the lobby are very effective.

Dan, Fred...
What about the good ol' skull and crossbones?
