Hi,

I have been doing some automatic processing of the results files in Excel (not big science, but it works for my purposes) in order to make a ranking for a couple of tourneys. Before starting I verified that it was not possible to create a user name with a dash (-) in it. But now that I have everything running I've come across with a nick that does include a dash - is that because it is an old user name that was created when there were no restrictions?

Yes. We could prevent those from logging in ( and probably should at some point ).

No dashes? Whats this world coming to? What's next? Removal of the lowly underscore?

Please please please, I beg you, whatever you do, dont eliminate my underscore. I would lose my whole identity. Then who would I be? I know that "bidemup" is already taken as an ID by someone else. Would I then turn into a doppleganger and become him? Her? Ayyyyyy. My head hurts just to think about it.

(Of course, thinking about anything is prone to making my head hurt.)

B)
Is the word "pass" not in your vocabulary?
So many experts, not enough X cards.
