Big and little Dick have but a few short years to complete their plan.......well, his plan......so that continuity is assured and the neocon agenda and oil-fueled richness of the power-wielding US elite is maintained.

What do you think will be their next step in this plan? Aside from distracting, mesmerizing and neutralizing the US populace with the war on terror and homeland security....when and what will they enact to ensure their own continuity and survival?

Your plan A may not be too far-fetched......

I was thinking along the lines of the next "peril" to national security that would necessitate an action like military law etc. because as commander-in-chief President Bush heads the military and were he to die in office, the V.P. takes over....

The "Big Lie" about Iraq has blown up in the faces of the neo-cons and caused a serious PR problem with their plans - an expansion into Iran would be severely handicapped by Congress and the public - and there is also serious doubt about even the start of it all with 36% believing governmental lied about 9-11.

If the theory about the neo-cons and their plans are true, then it appears that they may be at a "Crossing of the Rubicon" point in time, and their hand may be forced to act much sooner than hoped. There is no time for a 5-year plan so I would think the most likely scenario would be a quick and powerful message that leaves everyone begging for Big Brother to save them and reinforces the threat of global Islamic terrorism and thereby makes us stop doubting 9-11 - perhaps a single dirty bomb or a biological event. The route would be either up through Mexico or down from Canada or both, proving the need for cooperation among the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to secure North American borders with a North American Union.

The terrorst attack would cripple the U.S. economy, driving it into recession, causing a crash of the dollar and providing a perfect excuse to introdue the Amero as the new North American Currency.

And of course, with all the disruptions the president would have to send out the National Guard, according to his new powers from the John Warner Derfense Act, and declare martial law.

But, of course, things like this couldn't really happen - right?

Then there is the other idea of simply sitting back while Israel attacks Iran's nuclear capabilities with nukes and starts WWIII, IV, V, and VI.
