I posted a question about whether we could turn off announcements a while ago, and I just asked one of the yellows on BBO and he says there's no way to turn them off.
I don't know why but sometimes when I log on to BBO if I try to close the pop up announcement windows too fast (this happens particularly when there are 2 or more pop ups) I get a windows error that says the program is not responding and needs to close.
Could you please make it so the pop up announcements are an option - so you can turn them on and off. Maybe just make a section for announcements that people can look at if they want to know what's going on.
