Yes. As the article mentions,it's where most spam is coming from these days.

Nobody really knows the figure. A few days ago I read in Computerworld, as I remember quoting CNet, it was approx. 400.000. The number is decreasing every X-mas by an estimate of 100.000 and it takes a little time for the criminals to attack new ones. But in some months it will go up again. Still mostly via E-mails.

Something strange is happening. Recently I installed a refurbished computer without luck. But the funny thing here it looked like each time I tried to update this one with security updates(service pack 1) those files seemed to contain as well trojan horses as back-door infected files. OK that was not the reason why I scratched - only to inform also trying to be careful you can be unlucky.

The good news is that with Vista Micro*hit will be responsible for security. Every month like clockwork a new release will fix the problems that hackers have been exploiting for a few weeks, so everybody will have a chance to go zombie for a bit while we wait for the latest release.

A cold chablis works best when you are relaxing after the run in the clubhouse.

Works perfectly. There are a couple of files in the BBO folder which need to be modified but no big deal. And no worries so far about being a zombie or email viruses is the biggest benefit.

Atually, newer Wine versions don't need modifications (it used to be necessary to have a LINUX_WINE=Y in bbover.ini; BROWSER_TYPE=C might still be necessary for embedding the browser, but that is a BBO default).
