X shows genuine takeout with inv values OR any GF hand. you may think this is a silly agreement - you can change it after the board, but not now.

3C. 3NT isn't bad, but given the vulnerability, I don't like Qx as a stopper. It could depend on the opps. A lot of players are more conservative than they should be vul against a strong club. Playing against someone like myself, I would probably bid 3NT :P

I don't like 3H "looking for a stop". If partner HAS the stop then you have just wrong-sided 3N.

Possibly another case for Leb/g-b 2N? 3C is nice bid if it shows extras, then P can bid 3H with a little something in the suit. Without that, the case for 3N is looking stronger. Perhaps you don't need a stopper in the play if you have shown one in the bidding? RHO didn't raise H so perhaps you can hope that p has some help, but that doesn't mean much at this vul.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

3NT is a bit of a mastermind, but I'd definitely bid it with a weakish pard. With expert pard I'd probably try 3.

Only two choices, 3 and pass...I guess i will bid 3 because partners hand could be GF and we might easily have slam (and i would change the agreement immediately after this hand). This hand is not as good as it's 19 hcp indicate, and 1 already showed a good hand.. long suit weak, high cards in short suits, and the heart Queen is questionabe value.

3. It seems like I need pard to have two club honors including the Ace AND a heart partial to make 3NT. He will probably bid 3 (over my 3) with these cards even if this is all he has.

I assume inv. means in the 5-7 range or so?

3. I'm a little heavy, but the overcaller can see the vulnerability too, so my Q isn't a great card. My suit sucks too, so I need pard to hold great clubs and a partial club stop which seems like a longshot.

Pass is intriguing, but risks a huge loss when its wrong.

3. No need to mastermind: will bid 3N over 3 or 3, and partner may draw inference from lack of immediate 3N. Partner won't (shouldn't) bid 3N with a single stop unless he has good s.

I care about the friends I have made on BBO. Also, I am extremely concerned about the environment/ ecology/ wildlife/ the little planet that we call Earth. How much more of the world's habitat and food supply for animals do we plan on destroying. How many more wetlands are we going to drain, fill, and build on? How many more sand dunes are we going to knock down in the interests of high-rise hotels or luxury homes?

You opened a strong club for a reason. You might wish to inform partner of the reason.
Unless things have really changed, wouldn't a 3NT rebid show a strong, balanced or semibalanced hand (whatever range you agreed upon) and not a 1-suited hand?
If you rebid 3C, 3NT is still in the picture.
