I prefer talk off, for one simple reason the people that will be inclined to chat will talk amongst their friends and give it a clicky feel, so others may be unsure to join in

I think that if you chat to the people at your table you may get to know them a bit better

Given that it's meant to be a chance for us to all talk to each other out of the forums, I reckon chat on has to be the way forward.

While I would prefer chat to be on (whether I would use it or not) it might be preferable to leave it off (until say the last round or so?) and what about kibbitzers?
