I was kibitzing a table where so friends were playing in one direction and some other pair the other way. One of the oh-so-nice opponents chose to ditch the game after seeing dummy after doubling my friends off in some ironclad contract.
I was, at the time, using GIB's double dummy analysis to look at the hand.
I decided to sit down to finish the hand. When I did, all of my cards, and all cards played by p, dummy and declarer had the little green [+1] and [=] signs on them as I was playing. This is a rare situation, but it seems that the the GIB double dummy analysis should be turned off when someone sits down.

What's the point? Even if GIB is turned off, won't it still display all four hands, since you saw them while you were kibitzing? Even without the analysis, is it fair for you to play double dummy?

at the point i sat down it did not matter what that hand did. Just wanted to finish the damn deal, since the person that ran from the table exhibited total idiocy in both bidding and play and deserved the bad result that finishing the hand would yield.
