Scoring: MP

1H=(2D)=3D=(4D)
4H=P===P===(5D)
P==P====?

Do you like your bidding so far? What is your bid and plan now?

Hi,

X.

the bidding so far was fine.
Partners bid was forcing and I have
no reason to believe 5H will score
better than 5DX.

With kind regards

Agree with the above. I guess if you play the cue as a raise then the bidding is fine.

Dbl is clear, though I now see there's a good chance 5 actually makes ;)

Double. Pass isn't forcing for me, however. I'm OK with whats happened so far. -550 looks very possible.

I thought the vulnerability-based FP's were a thing of the past?

For pard to take the push, yet pass 5, I'm expecting a distributional minimum; AJxx, Kxxxx, x, QJx. I like our chances against 5, but 5 looks like a stretch.

I'd smack it, my hand is the wrong hand to venture to the 5 level. If LHO is a good player I'm a little suspicious of his bidding but usually this is just people bidding poorly as opposed to walking it.

Assuming 3 is LROB, your bidding is fine.

I would think that especially at MP's PD's pass is forcing. So I whack 5 since I think 5 is an underdog to make.
