BBO has an announcement that Becky Rogers made GLM. I don't know her well, . but she's a very nice player to play against and I understand she's from Las Vegas

Whats really newsworthy is that she crossed the line playing on-line at BBO.

I hope the ACBL picks up on this news tidbit. I would hope the league would use this to help promote on-line bridge for its membership.

The ACBL Bulletin has a section every month that lists all the masterpoint milestones, and it has pictures and blurbs for all the new GLMs, as well as any multiples of 5,000 MPs starting with 10,000 (to become a GLM you have to reach this milestone and also have won a national tournament). So there's virtually no chance that ACBL will no "pick up on this tidbit".
